The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) honored Thomas W. Wagstaff as one of three recipients in 2008 for the prestigious “Deans of the Trial Bar” Award at its annual conference in May 2008.
Presented annually, the “Deans of the Trial Bar” Award spotlights individuals whose superb litigation skills and professional demeanor are viewed as exemplary by their peers. The KCMBA commended Tom for his 36 years of civil litigation practice, including the last 11 at this firm that he co-founded in 1997, after leaving then-Blackwell Sanders Matheny Weary & Lombardi.
Wagstaff has tried more than 100 cases to verdict over the course of his career. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, he has an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell, and he is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has frequently participated in ABOTA’s Masters in Law Program.
