About The Case

In June of 2026, Brian Madden, Alison Bangert and Amy Baldwin, tried a one-week inverse condemnation case in Camden County, Missouri against the City of Sunrise Beach, Missouri.   Our firm represented plaintiffs in a cove at the Lake of the Ozarks whose properties were used, without permission, for municipal wastewater treatment plant discharges. The Camden County jury awarded our clients $795,000 in damages for the temporary partial takings of plaintiffs’ properties by the municipality.
