Lindsey Scarcello

Lindsey Scarcello takes on technology companies, consumer product manufacturers, and pharmaceutical companies on behalf of injured people in some of the largest and most consequential cases in the country. She was trial counsel for the State of Tennessee in its consumer protection action against Meta Platforms, Inc., which resolved near the conclusion of trial with the largest big tech settlement in history. The $17.1 billion multistate agreement imposes meaningful child-safety reforms on Instagram and delivers more than $750 million to Tennessee’s Children’s Digital Protection Fund.

She also served on the trial team in K.G.M. v. Meta Platforms, Inc., a landmark bellwether trial in California’s social media personal injury coordinated proceeding (JCCP 5255), and on three bellwether trial teams in In re 3M Combat Arms Earplug Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2885), the largest multidistrict litigation in United States history. In addition to her work in mass litigation, Lindsey has secured multi-million-dollar recoveries in both bench and jury trials for individuals catastrophically injured and killed by the wrongful conduct of others.

Courts have appointed Lindsey to leadership teams in multiple nationwide consolidated actions. Her experience spans every stage of a case, from pre-filing investigation through appeal, and covers product liability, professional negligence, and consumer protection. She is a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer and has been recognized every year since 2021 as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Outside her practice, Lindsey serves on the Mid-America Executive Leadership Council for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
