Maureen Murphy was born and raised in Kansas City. She graduated from Regis University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a minor in English. After graduating, Maureen worked in the insurance industry, where she developed a passion for helping people navigate complex systems. This experience led her to pursue a career in law.

Maureen earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2024. While in law school, she served on the UMKC Law Review and gained valuable experience as a summer law clerk for Judge James Kanatzar of the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County. She also interned with a small personal injury firm in Kansas City.

Today, Maureen’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on mass torts and personal injury.
